How We Give Back

How we support students

The ASFA Foundation’s mission is to support ASFA, the Dorothy Jemison Day Theater, and the arts community by educating students as participants and supporters of the arts and sciences.

The Alabama School of Fine Arts Foundation was created in 1976 with the mission of engaging private sector support to address school needs. Supported by a Director of Development, the Foundation works closely with the school to identify opportunities to support our students and faculty and build a generation of artists, scientists and thinkers prepared to take the world by storm. The Foundation’s Board of Directors is composed of individuals who are passionate about the arts and education, and we are grateful for their efforts to assist, sponsor and encourage the efforts of the school.
